Tomatoes and patatoes with fresh oregano

Peel potatoes and cut them into very thin slices,.
Wash tomatoes and cut them vertically into slices of about 1,5 cm in thickness.
Chop 2 cloves of garlic together with oregano leaves and add a bit of extravirgin olive oil.
Rub the bottom of a baking sheet with the left skinned garlic, and then grease it with a bit of oil.
Put on the bottom the slices of potatoes, salting them slightly. Continue with a layer of tomatoes, salt them and cover them with chopped garlic and oregano. Continue making the layers in this order and finish with a layer of tomatoes.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, add a sprinkling of pepper and spray olive oil.
Cook in hot oven at 180° for about 20 minutes, then grill vegetables to brown them for 5 minutes.
Serve hot or at room temperature tomatoes and potatoes au gratin : they are delicious as side dish or second course.
